About Me

I’ve had a passion for helping people for the last 20 years by supporting them in their and physical and emotional journeys in life. My helping others to heal started with working in the medical field. I enjoyed helping others recover and soon moved to working in hospice to assist others as they moved from this life to beyond. I realized I wanted to work in the mental health field after working with a community health organization 18 years ago and saw that there was great value in listening to people and seeing them for who they were with no judgments.

I received my Masters in counseling while working as a Social Worker and have experience working with adults, children and the elderly population. I have worked in various areas of mental health such as community mental health, inpatient and outpatient. I have always believed that the mind and body should be seen as one rather than separate and it is why my approach addresses both mind and body. I can provide you the tools you need to live a healthy fulfilling life.

Life can bring many challenges that can sometimes cause us pain while putting us out of our comfort zones. It is not easy and takes courage to ask for help and in my practice I will provide you the space you need and honor your courage. I look forward to assisting you on your journey to a healthier you!
